Ellekarr Run Cycle

I made a basic character rig of Ellekarr and gave him a basic run cycle. It's for a side project I have in mind...hopefully something I can put in my portfolio in March.

PS: I know that the body is in 3/4 while everything else is in portrait view. That was intentional. He's supposed to move like a character in a side-scrolling video game (The plane he moves on is entirely 2D)

Elven Lass

I’ve been trying out a new art software called Paint Tool SAI for about a week and I must say, it’s way better at making clear rough work n stuff…better than Corel Painter in my opinion! In Corel my lines were always inconsistent and my sketches were hard to make out…but damn, SAI is just way better for the stuff I do…dem curvy lines, I loves them ever so!

So anyway this elf lady is…I guess an acquaintance of Ellekarr (That dragon guy up on the header)…Dungeons & Dragons stuff.

I colored it in quickly too…

I wish I was better at coloring.

Hands Assignment

There was an assignment for life drawing, draw some hands then draw some Mickey hands then draw some Milt Kahl hands. I enjoyed drawing Milt Kahl hands and I realized my regular hands are kinda his style anyway soooo….bonus!
