Well my first demo reel is up. Go ahead and watch it.
It’s pretty close to the end of school and graduation is in two weeks…and it feels weird. It feels weird thinking that someone would hire me to do…art stuff as a full time job. But everyone tells me otherwise. I suppose I should be proud of myself, I’m only 19 and I already know what I want to do in life.
I have my sights set on getting a job at
Studio B (That Flash Poser job sounds perfect.) I’ve got two other places in mind,
Nitrogen and
Big Bad Boo…to tell you the truth I haven’t gone searching for all the flash studios in town and they’re hard to find via google.
In other news…uh…oh yeah. Remember that one post with all the game concept stuff? Well I kinda dove deeper into it. A small project on the side.
That little thing of Ellekarr running and slashing at the beginning of my reel is also a part of this game thing.
I’ve given up on programming. I’m just no good at code n whatnot. So instead I’m just going to animate sprites and put together a mock-gameplay-video and hope that someone else will program for me. I think this is the best way to do it, since I want to put all my effort towards animating things for the next few months…or years…whatever.
